Rocky Horror is one of those special things in life that is made for bizzare reasons, turns out oddly, fails miserably, but then for some unknown reason gets twisted into something entirely different and popular for reasons none can possibly explain, kind of like the original VW Beatle, it was designed at the request of Hitler, but somehow came to be an enduring image of 60's counter-culture. It also amuses me that the people in the movie went on to have very successful lives. What Rocky means to any one individual is personal, and everyone likes it for a different reason (the people who dislike it all agree it is sick and twisted) but I personaly think it is comedy to watch the cast, even more so the audience. If you take the movie by itself it is not much, if you look for a deeper meaning in the story GOOD LUCK!, but the total experience is something different. A place to let out the inner freak, or maybe just a small escape from reality, a place to see people in their underwear, if you have been to the show you have made your own conclusion. If you have not gone before, you should, at least once, unless you have a problem with vulgar, cross-dressing, semi-nude, bisexuality
